It's a GIRL!!!!!!!!

Beautiful Aurora Circe was born at 3:54am today. Weighing 6lbs 12 ozs. 49cm (19.25") long

Mom was so amazing :) Dad is so relieved.

This is the BEST birthday present I've ever gotten. I can't image anything better.

What an exciting day today has been! I've been on pins and needles as my son and daughter-in-law were due YESTERDAY. Well, it looks like I'm going to meet my grandbaby soon!

Bwaahahahaaaa! What a crazy cat. Penny loves being out on the deck. This is the first time she's been out when the cushions weren't on the chairs. I think she looks hilarious with her BIG fur which makes her head look tiny and out of proportion... crazy crazy girl.

I love shopping! But I especially like getting a great deal! I got this wonderful child size oak rocking chair for $8.00 at a second hand store. I also got this great fabric shower curtain for $3.00. :D I think it makes a great backdrop. Please just ignore the cat (insert rolling eyes here)

I hate that when you try to sit out and eat on the deck that they immediately want to join us.

I've heard that having an open container of ground cloves will keep them away. I'll have to try that.

The day didn't start off so well today. The weather was grey and I also had a wicked migraine. I finally felt somewhat better after a long nap. I love the bokeh in this shot of my lavender. I am really enjoying the late afternoon sun this time of year.

What a gorgeous day today! So warm. In the late afternoon I noticed that the light just looked magical on my little weeping pussy willow tree. I went outside and took a few shots, this is one of my favorites.

I was working on getting my off camera flashes working like I wanted. To test if I had them both set up properly I set one on the floor and one on the table to my right. Here Penny is examining the flash on the floor. I would say it went off, lol... She wasn't too pleased with me about that. She's such a pretty girl :) I thought I'd throw in an extra one of her.

April 11 2010 - Day 101

Sunshine :) This is our Japanese Maple just starting to unfurl it's leaves. With the warm weather it's so nice to see all the leaves starting in the yard. It's too bad the weeds are enjoying this weather too.

Here's sweet Jack :) He often lays like this. As you can see by all the cat hair on it, he also loves this chair. Crazy cat.

Ah, IKEA! Bruce had to work today so I spent the day at Ikea :) I didn't mind though lol. It was also VERY windy in the morning as you can see.

I went to Vancouver with Bruce for a few days as he had a meeting. The weather was not very nice at all as you can see. This is the Alex Fraser Bridge.

I just love this cherry tree next door to us. It almost looks like it snowed with so many petals on the ground. Beautiful :)

In the background is the beautiful antique sideboard that B got refinished for Maryanne's birthday. It was her grandmothers.

Matt and Adam on top of Mount Doug. We went to get some fresh air before having our big turkey dinner. The boys walked all the way there and up the mountain. The rest of us drove and just walked around the top. What a beautiful place it is!

We went to Victoria for Easter and had a wonderful visit with family.

I made these little egg flower pots for my sister in law. Aren't they cute? I got the idea in a magazine... I think lol!
