I love the colors in this picture, and the funky bokeh (fuzzy background). A simple weed transformed by light. I'll take any opportunity to practice my photography ;)

April 14 2010 - Day 104

The day didn't start off so well today. The weather was grey and I also had a wicked migraine. I finally felt somewhat better after a long nap. I love the bokeh in this shot of my lavender. I am really enjoying the late afternoon sun this time of year.

What a gorgeous day today! So warm. In the late afternoon I noticed that the light just looked magical on my little weeping pussy willow tree. I went outside and took a few shots, this is one of my favorites.
