Vancouver, a great place to visit. We always enjoy it there. We went to eat at the Old Spaghetti Factory. I had spaghetti with browned butter and Myzithra Cheese. It was SOOOO good! The cheese is dry, like a dry feta, but different too. Absolutely wonderful, and I'll order it again... next time ;)

This sunrise photo was actually taken on April 30th. I took it after I got back from the hospital after seeing my amazing daughter in law give birth to my granddaughter. Life is such a miracle.

FINALLY, we are getting a little break from the weather. Even though it did rain a bit today, it was nice to see several rainbows show up.

Brigadoon... Brigadoon.... okay, it's a good thing you can't hear me singing, lol! this was the weather this morning. Very pretty to look at, but not so warm out.

BTW, Brigadoon is one of my favorite movies. It's a great old classic :) (and no Nichol, I didn't get it in the $1.50 bin, wink )

Ahhhh :) Another perfect day in paradise. This is a view off our deck. Love the fresh snow on the mountains across the water. I hope the skiers are enjoying it too at the Olympics :D

I thought the layers of cloud/sky/sun/mountain/cloud/ocean looked amazing today. I wish that my camera was able to capture all the subtle variations. I personally could use a nice sunny day some time soon!

The view from our deck. The Georgia Straight, Vancouver Island, Canada. The light hitting the mountain in the distance is very close to Whistler B.C. where a lot of the Olympics will be taking place. It's been pouring BUCKETS here (is this a recurring theme? lol) But it finally cleared up today. So nice out. Some clouds rolled back in just near sunset. This is actually the EAST - with the sun reflecting back that way. It's a little dark, but I was loosing the light pretty fast.
