April 7 2010 - Day 97

I went to Vancouver with Bruce for a few days as he had a meeting. The weather was not very nice at all as you can see. This is the Alex Fraser Bridge.

March 29 2010 - Day 88

Somewhere over the rainbow...
FINALLY, we are getting a little break from the weather. Even though it did rain a bit today, it was nice to see several rainbows show up.

March 28 2010 - Day 87

Okay, back to macro :) This is the last of the pussy willow tree after a heavy rain. I love the reflection of the tree in the raindrop.

March 09 2010 - Day 68

Thought I'd try something a little artistic today. This photo was taken through the window of our 21st story hotel room at the Pan Pacific in Vancouver. The weather wasn't so great out. I kind of like the result though.

Feb 28 2010 - Day 59

Brigadoon... Brigadoon.... okay, it's a good thing you can't hear me singing, lol! this was the weather this morning. Very pretty to look at, but not so warm out.
BTW, Brigadoon is one of my favorite movies. It's a great old classic :) (and no Nichol, I didn't get it in the $1.50 bin, wink )

Feb 23 2010 - Day 54

Yehaw! Road TRIP! We decided to pop up to Comox to visit our good friend 'L', and also her good town restaurant ATLAS. It has THE most amazing food. 'N', 'A' and I hopped in the car. We were going to meet our friend at the restaurant. When we got there, oh the horror, it was CLOSED 'for a short winter holiday'. Well, you've never seen such a pathetic bunch of sad women :( We stood out in the rain, trying to decide what to do. We ended up going for lunch at another restaurant, and it was good, but it wasn't Atlas. I took this in the car on the way back. I think 'A' is showing what she would like to do to them for closing when we were so in the mood for that wonderful tasty delicious food.... hehehe gotcha 'A'!

Feb 11 2010 - Day 42

I was just heading out to do errands today and noticed a bunch of robins in the tree by our driveway. Then I noticed that the cherry blossoms were starting to get nice fat buds. I popped back into the house and got my nice long lens (70-200) and snapped a few pictures. It's been an insanely warm spring here. I love that you can also see the rain in this picture. We've been getting lots of that lately too. A little TOO much for my liking.

Feb 02 2010 - Day 33

Happy Groundhog Day :)
Well, I can assure you that there is NO way that any rodent (large or otherwise) saw any kind of shadow around here today! It was foggy and damp all day. Here's to spring coming soon.

Jan 30 2010 - Day 30

Fog and rain... rain and fog... drizzly, damp and dark. What a delightful day (can you hear the sarcasm?) I could really use a little vitamin D. Not much to take pictures of today... The streetlight in the fog and rain pitter pattering on the patio table.
Hopefully tomorrow will be a little drier.

Jan 14 2010 - Day 14

Rain rain go away... It is pouring buckets out there today. They are calling for more rain for the next few days too. It would be a good day to be a duck.
Quack Quack Quack!!!
