August 20 2010 - Day 231

Here's my sweet hubby :) Brian was watering the garden and sprayed between him and the camera... looks like a monsoon, lol! Bruce was helping check the lighting and location for tomorrow's picture of the day. Isn't he handsome? I love you honey :)

March 06 2010 - Day 65

We went to the 'Digger' antique show in Chemanius early this morning. It was so gorgeous out that we decided to just keep on going for a drive and ended up down in Victoria at one of my favorite places, Capital Iron. The sky was so blue, and the cherry blossoms were out in abundance. We found a few treasures - an adorable mini park bench (there will be a later post with a picture I think) and a cute little galvanized wash tub :)

We also walked all the way down to Fort Street. I just wish I had worn more comfortable shoes.

March 03 2010 - Day 62

It was so nice out today that Bruce and I decided to take a road trip out to Coombs. Of course anyone who has been to Coombs knows that one of the best things about it is their bakery... mmmm so delicious. I love their breads. The other thing I like about Coombs is the funky old buildings. I love the moss on the A-frame roof of this one.

That's my honey :) He's hard at work putting in the flooring in the basement/studio. It's going to look AWESOME! Thanks babe. I really do appreciate you doing this for me.

Feb 16 2010 - Day 47

Hubby and I went for a drive this afternoon as it was such a great day. The weather was beautiful. We decided to go to one of our favorite places, Coombs. On the way we stopped at Demex, which is a scrap metal, recycled building supply place. This was one of the fun and funky metal rusty gates that we saw. I don't think it gets better than this - FONTY and DISTRESSED! I LOVE IT! Wish I could have brought it home, but it's about 20 feet long and 5 feet high.

Happy Valentines Day.

Bruce bought me two beautiful miniature rose plants. One pink, and one red. They both are so pretty, and look really healthy and happy. I look forward to planting them in the front garden once the weather is a little better.

On another happy note, Canada won it's first gold medal at the Olympic games! Congrats Alexandre Bilodeau you are a real class act.

Feb 06 2010 - Day 37

I love the weekend. It's a great time to relax as well as get some chores done around the house. Here's hubby hard at work making sure the hot tub is functioning properly (wink). One of our favorite things to do on the weekend is to get up fairly early and take a carafe of coffee out to the hot tub and soak and sip and chat. Bliss :D

Jan 17 2010 - Day 17

My sweet hubby finished putting together my 3 Ikea shelves today! They look so awesome! I love anything texty so when I saw these glass door with all kinds of fun sayings on them I just KNEW they would be perfect, and they ARE! They are in my new 'prop' room, recently vacated by my eldest son. They look so pretty I don't want to put anything in them, but don't tell anyone (wink).

They were a 'Christmas gift' from hubby, thanks honey!
