Ulysses Greek ribs. Heavenly! As you can see I quite enjoyed them :D

I was so happy to find that they still had them when we drove through Quesnel. It had been about 8 or 9 YEARS since we were there, and they were just as awesome as we remembered :) They were so nice too, as they didn't have them on their lunch menu, but when I explained that we had driven about 800 miles to get some, they made up a special order for us :D TWO thumbs (covered with spice) up for Ulysses Restaurant!

The second is a little OLD church along the highway that I took while we were driving down the road. I think it's near Spences Bridge?

mmmmm. Bruce makes THE BEST cedar plank Salmon on the BBQ. It's something we look forward to every summer :) It's a great feast for company too.

YUM! King Crab, steamed over lemon, garlic and white wine. This is my all time favorite food. I love seafood of all kinds... great, now I'm hungry, lol!

June 26 2010 - Day 176

Great Granny, Great Auntie Maryanne and Adam all got to finally meet Aurora today. They all seemed pretty pleased to have a turn at holding her :)

Aurora slept for 45 minutes in Great Auntie's arms, and was so fun to watch yawn and stretch when she woke up. It looks like she's keeping a close eye on Adam too, lol.

One of the best times of the day. I love when there are some clouds to really make the sunset amazing. I love sitting on our deck, sigh :) and I'm so glad that it's finally getting nice enough out to do that.

My Hydrangea is loving this FINALLY warmer weather. I can't wait to see it in glorious full bloom, it's just gorgeous! I love the bokeh in the background of the sun shining on the branches of my weeping pussy willow too. :)

Potassium and cranberry juice.... not a great combination. Unfortunately (or fortunately?) it was better than the horrible cream of asparagus soup they tried to get me to eat for lunch..... ick! I actually had to have TWO glasses of this. Thank heavens my potassium levels came back to normal.

Pancreatitis. I hadn't even heard the word before last night. It is NOT fun, and beyond painful. I would not wish this pain on my worst enemy, seriously worse than labor. Hubby actually called the ambulance because I was SO sick, SO suddenly last night. This is a self portrait taken with my Blackberry.... played with some textures and messed around with it some....

This Red Finch was quite enjoying our new bird feeder. I recently read an article on exposure compensation and thought I would try using it for this because of the bright white lattice in the background. It worked great. Now I just need to remember to use this great technique :)

Shopping! One of my favorite things.

Even better when I go with my daughter in law and granddaughter. We had a great time. Aurora was an angel and slept most of the time, and was very content. She even let us eat lunch without any interruption.

She just may become my shopping buddy :D

Thanks for a great day Chanel. We'll have to make this a regular outing.

They make THE best Clam Chowder. Bruce took me there for lunch today. I was going to get a picture of the soup, but totally forgot and ate it all. This was in the menu, and I thought it was pretty funny. I love fonty things too, so that was a bonus.

Not quite Ansel Adams, lol... but I love this huge old cedar tree at the end of our street. There are a pair of eagles that like to sit on the uppermost branch. There is only one in this photo though. Unfortunately part of the top of the tree got blown off last winter.
