We took Jonathon's old crib (with a new mattress) over for Aurora to use today. She loved it! She looks so cute and so little. The bunny here is Fred. He was also Jonathon's. I'll have to get a better picture of them together. I'm so glad that we had bought a beautiful wooden crib to pass on to our children, and their children.
I have no idea what these 'fruit?' are.
Okay this photo is from the PhotoWalk last week, but I LOVE this idea of a belt to hold stuff close at hand. I think it would be so much easier to carry gear in a Think Tank system... too bad it's so expensive. I'll keep buying those lottery tickets, lol!
My good friend Nichol (in the yellow shirt) is moving away. I know that we'll still keep in touch though, and also have opportunity to shop together too ;) I'll miss you!

Bruce took this picture of me on the weekend when we were at Little Qualicum Falls. I played with it quite a bit trying to get a good black and white image. Not sure it worked, but I enjoyed the practice. I'm not used to being on THIS side of the camera ;)

I got this cute Fisher Price Noah's Ark for Aurora to play with at our house when she is older. It's got a ton of different animals... zebras, tigers, lions, camels, peacocks, elephants etc. Penny thinks perhaps there should be room for a cat or two in there too ; silly girl!

This teeny tiny itty bitty baby(?) grasshopper was so tiny I barely noticed it until it hopped. Makes me realize how much life there is in our yard, and also makes me realize that my neighbours probably think I'm totally bonkers for taking 20 minutes to photograph a 'blade of grass' while laying on my stomach. Whatever....
Lovely lucky ladybug sitting by our front door to greet visitors. It's so cute, it makes me smile each time I see it.
Love the hydrengia by our front door. When we moved into this house it was a tiny, snarly, choked with weeds bedraggled little thing that I almost pulled out. A little time and a little love and now it's big and beautiful :)
Princeton Gold Maple. Bruce picked out this tree last year and it is so gorgeous. Even when the sun isn't shining on it it looks 'sunny'. I love it, and look forward to it getting bigger and becoming a shade tree for the back yard.

oops, forgot to take a picture today. I LOVE this picture of Matt on the ferry from yesterday. It was so windy that it almost blew his glasses off, lol.
Homeward bound. Vacation may be nice, but it's sure nice to get home. :) It was a gorgeous day for a trip on the Ferry too.
Vancouver, a great place to visit. We always enjoy it there. We went to eat at the Old Spaghetti Factory. I had spaghetti with browned butter and Myzithra Cheese. It was SOOOO good! The cheese is dry, like a dry feta, but different too. Absolutely wonderful, and I'll order it again... next time ;)
:D Bruce and my mom get along so great. Somewhere down the line they have given each other nick names. Bruce calls her Sweet Cheeks and my mom calls him Honey Buns. When we were in Vancouver I made him pose by this sign. It's perfect! lol!
What a cutie pie, and LOOK at those long lashes. I'm so glad that we finally got to meet Alex. I pray that he continues to get better. Hang in there little guy, you can do it! We love you.
After a most fabulous delicious brunch at Lyle and Ally's the kids went out to play in the backyard. They had SO much fun with the bubbles. This is Logan, and he looks pretty happy, don't you think? :D
It's all fun and games until someone gets hurt. Poor Allison. I think her 'barrel racing days' may be over.
