March 01 2010 - Day 60

The morning after the Olympics ended. We had a little bottle of bubbly to celebrate Canadian awesomeness last night.

It makes me so proud not just the way the athletes performed, but also the way they were great ambassadors for this great country. I also think Vancouver did an amazing job of hosting the Olympics too. Well done Canada, well done. Here's to all of us.

Feb 18 2010 - Day 49

What a nutty cat. Penny loves this game. I was cracking up taking pictures of her. Especially this series where the toy fell right on her face and made her jump. (If you click on the picture you can see it better)

It's like we have our own little court jester. Thanks for the laughs girly :D

Feb 15 2010 - Day 46

We discovered a new game at our house tonight. We call it 'Mouse in Peril' I bet you can guess what happens next. Penny LOVES this game and kept waiting for me to put the mouse back on the railing so she could reach up and swipe it down.

I'll try to get some better pictures when it's light out... I love the look on her face here as she gets prepared to pounce. I'm just glad I'm not a mouse!

Feb 12 2010 - Day 43

The winter Olympics start today in Vancouver. We were going to watch just a bit of the opening ceremonies but ended up watching the whole thing. There were some great moments which made me so proud to be Canadian. I really enjoyed most of the cultural part of the evening too. Go Canada GO!!!
